Bryan Biddle
Bryan Biddle was born and raised in Waynetown, went to North Montgomery and returned to Crawfordsville after college to work. He left here in 1988 to pursue his career and returned to live here again in 2022. By avocation, he is a musician, having studied music in college and it has always been central in his free time. Over the years, he has been in church choirs, community choruses, sung with jazz bands, run a couple bands, sung in community theater, and done a lot of front porch singing with his guitar. It's a big part of his life. Bryan is married to Susan Streetman (nee Snow) whom he has known since he was 17. She's the real reason he moved back to Montgomery County. He has two grown daughters, Christina, in Clarkesville, TN and Emily, in Arlington, VA. He says, “Some might argue with me, but I think they are the two best daughters in the world.” When he married Susan, he got three terrific sons in the deal. Robert Streetman and his wife Christy of Crawfordsville, Jonathan and Sarah of Carmel, IN and Chase and Carmen in Madison, WI. He can't forget to mention his granddaughter Bryn either. There are dozens of songs he joins in on when he hears them. He is a big fan of the "Great American Songbook" but is just as likely to join in when he hears songs by Jimmy Buffett, James Taylor, or Gordon Lightfoot. Earth, Wind, and Fire makes him want to dance. (badly) When Scott Voliva asked him to be a star, his initial reaction was, "No way!" However, upon some reflection, he realized it could be a lot of fun. It would also be a chance to connect with more people in Crawfordsville. He has been away for a long time and many he knew are no longer here. Bryan stated, “It’s also such a great cause! When I learned about all the things the Youth Service Bureau does for kids here in Montgomery County, I felt there was no way I could say no to this opportunity.” When asked why the public should come to this event, he said, “Come watch the show. I am certain you will be impressed, amused, and entertained watching all the dancers who are putting in hours and hours of work to do their best. Your generosity will help the YSB continue to build better kids and better citizens for the future of Montgomery County.”
