Andrew Traylor

Andrew Traylor is an electrician at Nucor Steel and a paramedic for the Crawfordsville Fire Department. He has lived in Montgomery County for 35 years. He has been married to his wife, Carlin, for 17 years this August. She has been a nurse for 16 years, and currently works for Crawfordsville Mobile Integrated Health.

He couldn’t be more proud of the work she does, and the heart she puts into both caring for patients and their family. Together, they have two sons, Luke, 14, and Jake, 10. He and his wife love cheering them on at their games, seeing them grow and supporting their dreams.

Traylor grew up in Linden, and it’s where he still calls home. He and his wife have been active members of Eastside Baptist Church since 2011, finding faith, community and fellowship in the church family. Though life keeps them busy, they always make time for adventures. Traveling to new places and creating lasting memories together is something they hold dear. Whether it’s a weekend getaway or a totally new destination, they love to continue adding to their family memories.

“Through it all, our family remains grounded in love, faith and the small moments that matter most,” he said.

The song that always makes him get up and dance or sing along to is “Born to Boogie” by Hank Williams Jr.

Traylor decided to participate in the Youth Service Bureau fundraiser because he believes “that investing in the youth of our county is invaluable to not only bettering the future of our county leaders, but to better the current lives and future of each individual child.”

Traylor said the public should come to this event and support him and his partner Kashawndra Cooper because, “Not only is the purpose of this night to better our community by ensuring funding for the coming year, but the level of entertainment we will provide will be nothing but unforgettable!”
