How long have you lived in Montgomery County? I was raised in Montgomery County until I relocated to Indy to pursue other business adventures. Still, Montgomery County will always be home and a community where I am grateful to operate my businesses.

What do you do for fun in your spare time? In my free time, you can find me on the Lake with my friends, whom I call my “Lake Family,” relaxing, traveling to St. Pete, or catching up at work.

What song always makes you get up and dance or sing along? Anything that has a good beat or is fun. If I had to pick one, It would be Don’t Stop Believing.

Tell us about your family. My family! I’ve been blessed with great parents, Jack and Pam Stevenson, three sisters and brothers-in-laws, nine nieces and nephews, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and my dog Shilah, who support me and my crazy ideas, including being part of Dancing with the Stars.

What was your reaction when you were asked to be a Star? How the Hell do I have time to add something else to my schedule? Then, I changed my attitude and focused on the cause.

Why did you decide to participate in this Youth Service Bureau fundraiser? I would say Karen Branch. I have been on the Chamber Board of Directors with Karen and learned about the YSB over the last several years. This past Christmas season, Karen gave me a tour of the facility on Pike St., and I was amazed at all the different programs offered to the community youth. I knew at the end that the YSB was truly a special place, and one of the many reasons why Montgomery Co. would be a better place for the next generation was because of the programs offered and the caring atmosphere created by the staff. It also aligns with one of our core values at Stevenson’s and how we are committed to helping make our community a better place.

Why should the public come to this event and support you and your partner? Supporting us? It’s good to have moral support, but the event is truly about the youth of this community. The event is a fun atmosphere and a place to forget about the real world for an evening. It’s an experience where everyone is focused on the greater good of Montgomery Co. through the YSB, and the energy is electrifying!
