Occupation: Social Worker at North Montgomery High School

How long have you lived in Montgomery County? I was born and raised here before leaving in 2007. I returned to working in Montgomery County in 2014 and moved back to live here in 2019!

What do you do for fun in your spare time? I teach ballet and tap classes at Dance by Deborah. I love spending time with my kids and husband, we can often be found out and about in the community.

Tell us about your family. I am married to my husband, Chuck. We recently celebrated 10 years of marriage. We have 2 daughters- Sawyer is 8 and Parker is 5!

What is your dance background? I began dancing at Dance by Deborah when I was 3 years old. I continued at DBD until I graduated high school. I was also a 7 year member of the Crawfordsville Dance Teams. In college I did my minor study in dance and was also the captain of the Hope College Poms Dance Team! Go Hope!

What is your favorite genre of music to dance to? I enjoy dancing to anything that can get the audience excited and that the dancers can have fun with.

Why did you decide to participate in this Youth Service Bureau fundraiser? As a social worker in MoCo, I’ve been able to see firsthand the positive effects that YSB has on the youth of our community.  The YSB does so much for the most vulnerable kids.

Why should the public come to this event and support you and your partner? We have a fun performance planned and we both believe wholeheartedly in the mission of YSB! We hope everyone will come have a great time for a great cause.
