Skylar Stevenson

Skylar Stevenson is the owner of Stevenson’s Ace Hardware, Stevenson’s Furniture & Mattress Co., and now Superior Moving and Storage. Montgomery County will always be home and a community where he is grateful to operate his businesses. In his spare time, he can be found on the lake with his “Lake family,” relaxing, traveling to St. Pete, or catching up at work. Skylar says that he has been blessed with great parents, Jack and Pam Stevenson, three sisters and brothers-in-law, nine nieces and nephews, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and his dog, Shilah, who all support him and his “crazy ideas,” including being a part of Dancing with the Montgomery County Stars. When asked if he would be a pro, he initially said no. Thanks to Jim and Christina Deer for donating an extra $1,000 to YSB, he agreed! He believes the YSB is truly a special place, which is one of the many reasons Montgomery County will be a better place for the next generation. The YSB is one of the reasons for this, as are the programs offered and the caring atmosphere created by the staff. It also aligns with one of our core values at Stevenson’s and how we are committed to helping make our community a better place.” He thinks the public should attend this event and support him and Megan because “It’s good to have moral support, but the event is truly about the youth of this community. The event is a fun atmosphere and a place to forget about the real world for an evening. It’s an experience where everyone is focused on the greater good of Montgomery County through the YSB, and the energy is electrifying!”
